LABY

The Mysterious Child

CHARACTER PATHS

Story

Laby spent an unknown amount of time deep within the Black Forest, until one day, guided by the ‘Third Blue Light’, she finally leaves.

Determined to uncover the truth about her identity, Laby embarks on a journey to learn who she truly is.

Sparky Child

When Laby sees the monsters at the harbor, memories of an old friend flood back, stirring dark, unsettling emotions in Nisha.

Laby tries to ignore this uncomfortable energy but struggles to push it aside. To cope, she immerses herself in training, discovering that the more she trains, the stronger she becomes.

However, the feelings she sought to avoid became too much to ignore. Laby decides she no longer wishes to fight Nisha, the source of these unpleasant feelings, but also cannot bear to push her only companion away. Determined to find balance, Laby resolves to use her strength to learn new techniques and grow stronger, allowing her to rely on herself without abandoning Nisha.

Rumble Pumn

Laby never hesitates to make new friends, even in unfamiliar places. However, the people she meets are cruel, using violence against those weaker than themselves. Faced with such malice for the first time, Laby feels lost.

Nisha’s dark energy resurfaces, resonating with those who’ve suffered loss. Laby’s excitement about her progress fades, but she clings to the milestones she’s achieved.

In the end, Laby accepts that the world isn’t always fun and happy. She seals Nisha to stop the unpleasant feelings, crushing her uncertainties. With her resolve hardened, she continues her adventure, seeking the things she truly enjoys.

Eternity Winner

Laby’s desire to find happiness grows stronger, but her relationship with Nisha continues to hold her back. Now that she understands Nisha, Laby feels no more unease in her presence. Instead, she decides to use Nisha’s power for her own enjoyment—fighting.

With flashy hand-to-hand combat and relentless perseverance, Laby becomes a champion, awaiting new challengers daily as the Eternity Winner.

Twinkle Child

When Laby sees the monsters at the port, she feels a strange emptiness that affects her ability to fight. Coupled with Nisha’s erratic behavior, Laby struggles with the overwhelming emotions. But when she embraces Nisha, she realizes the emptiness had been coming from her all along.

Instead of shying away from the feeling, Laby reassures Nisha, calming her down. In that moment, Laby decides to share everything with Nisha, no matter the hardships. She accepts Bellonde’s offer to train her, and with Nisha by her side, Laby sets out to become even stronger, united with her companion.

Shining Romantica

Waking up in an unfamiliar place, Laby finds herself in danger, but a stranger comes to her aid. This act of kindness reminds her of her teacher and makes her realize how happy she feels when others reach out to help. Laby decides that she doesn’t need any reason to help others—she simply wants to spread joy.

With her selfless decision to help those in need, Nisha undergoes another transformation, reflecting the bond they share as Laby becomes Shining Romantica.

Radiant Soul

Laby has been troubled ever since she understood the truth about Nisha. She promised never to abandon their bond, but what will happen if she truly accepts Nisha? Though they began as one, Laby and Nisha are now two distinct entities. Laby worries that merging with Nisha will erase both of them, leaving behind someone entirely different.

Finally, Laby decides that she and Nisha don’t need to become one to stay together. They can remain themselves, together forever. Nisha transforms, and they share their emotions as equals, remaining by each other’s side until the light fades away.

Rusty Child

Laby’s initial excitement about exploring a new world is replaced by discomfort, leading her to make a mistake in battle. Though she defeats the enemies with Nisha’s help, Bellonde is injured, and his wounds don’t heal as quickly as hers. This causes Laby to realize that she’s different—both inside and outside the forest.

Plagued with distrust, Laby withdraws from the world, finding comfort only in Nisha. As uncertainty gnaws at her, she closes herself off, relying on Nisha more than ever.

Daydreamer

Wandering in a strange place, Laby asks for help but is met with hostility at every turn. Just as she’s about to give up, a young girl helps her. Touched by this act of kindness, Laby resolves to trust the world again. But the feeling is short-lived when the girl’s family is taken away, leaving Laby feeling helpless and despairing.

Nisha offers Laby comfort, suggesting that if Laby shares her emotions, Nisha can use that strength to protect her. Relieved, Laby gives Nisha her pain, allowing Nisha to shield her from the world’s hurts, enveloping her in a sweet illusion.

Nisha Labyrinth

Determined to make the world a happy place for Laby, Nisha leads her to Henir’s Barrier. But their journey takes a dark turn, and the illusions Nisha crafted for Laby begin to twist and unravel. Realizing that Laby’s connection to her emotions is causing more pain, Nisha decides to fully protect her.

Laby entrusts her emotions to Nisha, allowing her to take corporeal form while Laby slowly fades away. To prevent Laby from disappearing, Nisha turns her into a mirror and promises to create a world where Laby can be happy forever.

Rough Child

Excited to leave the forest, Laby is injured during a monster invasion at the port.

Fearful of the dangerous world, she realizes that showing weakness will make her a target. Becoming more rebellious and aggressive, Laby trusts only Nisha as they embark on a journey filled with fear and mistrust.

Punky Poppet

Despite her growing unease, Laby presses forward. Exhausted from battle, she watches as Nisha absorbs the energy from the defeated monsters, a power familiar to Laby from the Black Forest.

Feeling safe and relieved, Laby realizes that together, she and Nisha can grow stronger. They decide to take power from their enemies, embracing their next steps.

Twins Picaro

Laby finally understands that Nisha embodies her sadness, but she refuses to accept it. Laby feels even more strongly toward Nisha, who has endured all this sadness alone.

Deciding to focus only on happiness, Laby becomes a troublemaker, determined to create a wonderland where she and Nisha can chase joy together.
