USER ABUSE AND PENALTIES

The Game Policies and its Penalties are subject to change without any prior notice. Any type of act or behavior deemed inappropriate by KOG Games will be dealt with accordingly.

Important Reminders regarding Violations and Penalties:

  1. All penalties listed below are arranged into standards dependent on the general nature of each offense, but are subject to any adjustment as deemed necessary by KOG Games’ sole discretion up to and including Permanent Ban.
  2. All violations are validated through the actual observation and investigation of the Game Masters. KOG Games has no obligation of presenting evidence related to any cases it has ruled upon.
  3. All penalties listed below can be issued on a per instance basis, resulting in an accumulation of 1st offense penalties or an automatic 3rd offense penalty, depending on the number of violations committed. The choice of recourse in such cases is entirely at the discretion of KOG Games.
  4. If a player who already incurred the maximum penalty stated commits the same offense, the succeeding penalty, including Permanent Ban, is at the GM’s discretion.
  5. If penalties incurred for a game is a permanent suspension, access to all games published by KOG Games will be permanently restricted.

General Misconduct Player Harassment Rude behavior, obscene/sexual remarks, racism,
cursing, or aggressive, harassing behavior including
derogatory and/or hateful comments that are sexual,
racist, offensive to a specific gender, religion or creed,
flamebaiting and anything that can be considered as inflammatory		 1-day ban 3-day ban 7-day ban
Inappropriate Names Using an in-game name for a character, guild, pet or
anything visible to other players which are obscene,
sexual, racist, implied or otherwise offensive in nature
which the GMs deem derogatory		 1-day ban 7-day ban 14-day ban
Insult/abuse towards the Company or its GMs Any negative act, comment or criticism that is directed
towards the Company or its GMs which are not
constructive, or are derogatory, insulting and abusive

Libel, Slander or False Rumors against the
Company or its GMs		 Any false information being disseminated that

Account Sharing The act of sharing one’s account information to

Disrupting an In-game Event The act of intentionally disrupting an event hosted by

Game Integrity Infringement Using Hacking Tools Using a third-party program, game client modification
or other illegal means to play the game in a manner
that is not intended by the developers and results to
an unfair advantage over other players

Botting Use of third-party software to perform automated
game operations that are not intended by the

Sound/Graphical Modification Alteration of game client files not necessarily
intended to cause an unfair advantage over other
players. This includes in-game elements that are not

Bug Exploitation Deliberate abuse of gameplay, character, interface,
item, quest, non-player character (NPC) bugs or
glitches; Dissemination of information regarding
known and acknowledged bugs/glitches for the intent

in-game currency obtained using said method OR

Account/Item Theft Account Hacking Any unauthorized access to another player’s account
regardless of how the account information was

Scamming Obtaining in-game items and/or currency by means of

General Fraud Impersonating GM or Company Staff Player introducing themselves as a member of the GM

Chargeback Chargeback Unauthorized chargeback is a reversal, withdrawal or a
return of funds to a customer which is influentially
