We heard ya! Elsword OBT goes B&W | |
Due to insistent public demand, Elsword's conversion from full color to black and white is now in the works! By now a very popular request on the forums, the B&W conversion is an idea initially brought up by a player on a modded Amiga 500. The notion was backed by a whopping 1,748 votes in a related
thread started by the retro geeks of LowSpecGaming.org.
You ask and we have answered. Your long wait will be over soon, as we are already draining our game servers of all its RGB, CMYK, and rainbow color bits. As soon as OBT starts, the B&W conversion will be complete, giving gamers from all walks of life a new-and-improved Elsword experience that runs on most low spec PCs and certain scientific calculators. It's time for the Intel i386 faithful to rejoice.
It's a wonder we didn't think of it ourselves as it really keeps with the manga aesthetic. In game characters will now be 2D and have limited movement (if any), while combat has been converted to a turn-based system. You can practically email your moves in. All the better to give you a true manga experience. We'd say we're already feeling a bit like Santa here, and it's only April 1st.
